How to make custom large emoticons WITHOUT Stuffpng by xfuzion on 09-08-2005 at 03:41 AM

Maybe a repost maybe not.

Programs Required
- Fireworks MX ( link )

First
- Save your static gif anywhere on your computer, it must be at or smaller than 50x50 pixels.
- Open your static gif in Fireworks MX
- Try and setup the layout so the Frames / History panels can both be displayed at once ( makes it easier )

Steps will be posted down the thread for the attached images. I dont have the bandwidth to support it.

Step 1
Select the current frame in the frame panel, where it has 0 double click and change it to 100/100 of a second.

Then switch it from gif to animated like image shows

Step 4
Export the image of course to save it.

These steps are optional.

Go to history panel and select all the steps
Then click the little "save" disk in the lower right corner.

Step 5
Name your command whatever you want.

Next time you open a static gif simply go to the Commands Menu and at the very bottom click on your saved command, then repeat the export preview menu and save step.

Cheers!

sorry for making it in so many parts.

If anyone wants to rehost the images and put it all into 1 thread post by all means go ahead just give me some credit :)

For already animated gifs, simply skip all the steps and go straight to the export preview menu, switch it to animated gif and resave it ( it will then work in MSN messenger )
