With this tool, you can change your own picture automatically on MSN Messenger, make slideshows, and share them with your friends (you'll find screenshots, full description, and help movie on the website).

Two languages available today (french & english), but more languages (spanish, german, arabic, ...) are coming soon !

It's a cool program but it won't work well with SPNG as you have to resize the DP everytime the program changes it.

Edit: Also it adds all the default MSN DP's again for some reason.

With MSN Pictures Displayer you can :
- create and share diaporamas
- set any Internet Explorer's picture as MSN Messenger avatar by right clicking on it
- there is an animated icon in the system tray to tell you the MSN Pictures Displayer status
- interface improved
- ...

MSN Pictures Displayer is not a graphic tool. It displays pictures as MSN Messenger does it. If you've to resize/repaint/create your pictures you may do it with another program.


The default MSN DP's are automatically created by MSN Messenger when MSN Picture cache folder is erased.

Another thing is that when you have it on English mode it still shows the pop-up conformation screens in French.

I'll try to change it.

yes much better than adp/display picture manager, my only gripe is the mountains in the background

But this works a dream!!!

It is a really cool program, it seems to run a lot smoother than that of Display Picture Manager...

Same as Fukafly really, I don't like the backgrounds...

Just a quick problem I noticed on the installation setup:

- When it asks about the plugin for Plus! it states 'MSN Plus' and not 'Messenger Plus!'. These both exist in their own right and are different entirely.

Good job overall though!

Great plugin. but I have a other request. isit possible to choose with contact see what picture. I mean When I have a picture that is for a 1 specific person, and you want to put it in you picture display. can you make it so that all of the other will see a other picture. It is hard to explain. but what i mean is a personalized(based on with contact, can see with photo) display picture. I hope it is not to confusing. Please ask if you don't understand

The current method used to change the picture doesn't allow this, and ... I don't know another way...

No problem ! It's due to Windows Messenger.

1. Download and install www.msnpd.org/RemoveWM.exe (answer OUI).
2. Relaunch MSN Pictures Displayer (1 or 2 times may be) : it will ask you to install components answer YES.

I suggest you not to remove Windows Messenger using some random program from the Internet.

If you want to remove Windows Messenger properly, please follow CookieRevised's instructions in I am about to rip my hair out over MS Messanger

I developped www.msnpd.org/RemoveWM.exe especially for this use : so it's OK.

Does you RemoveWM "remove"/"uninstall" windows messenger???? Or does it just disable the various registry keys etc. that is needed?... If it removes it completly from windows, then please don't tell users here on the boards to uninstall Windows Messenger unless they specifically ask for it...

"RemoveWM" removes Windows Messenger (and not MSN Messenger !!)completely from your system : a specific message says it when you launch RemoveWM.

And when you relaunch MSN Pictures Displayer, it reinstalls Windows Messenger (4.7.2009) with good parameters.

I 'deactivated' WM 4 Days ago. And... your picDisplayer works perfect

I 'deactivated' the WM with TuneUp!
With it you can 'reinstall' the WM everytime again, if some applications need it...

I've been using this plugin for more than a month now i think - i love it tis great!!!!!

It is rather good, i have noticed however that it tends to lessen the image quality on my badger display pictures quite alot they appear almost 4 bit colours

Please verify that :
1. You've the latest version of MSN Pictures Displayer > http://www.msnpd.org
2. Your color number is at least 16 bits.

- Compatible with StuffPlug-NG (its oversized display pictures and emoticons options are disabled by MSN Pictures Displayer to avoid a window to appear each time you change your display picture).

Over-sized DP rotating would be the best.

Now, you can give to each display picture a comment which will be displayed as your MSN personal message. Personal message can be animated too.

Double-click on your pictures in the MSN Pictures Displayer window to add your comments.

Have fun with MSN PD (compatible MSN Messenger and WLM).
