I was wondering if there was any way/patch/whatever to remove these icons?:

I looked around at all the FAQs and couldn't see anything.

No you can't remove these icons. This are kinda vital to plus!'s features.

I don't see how they're vital. The things that they do can be easily accessed from other tool bars near the top, and the icons really annoy me.

Plus! -> Preferences -> Instant Messages -> uncheck "Enhance the toolbars with Messenger Plus! features"
