hey how fast can you type? i can type 43 words per minute

32 spam per minute

yeah... those computer geeks can really type i know a guy that can go 130 words per minute its so fast its not even funny its like if you were to mash your keyboard doing this

yeah i know its crazy like this guy spends all of his life on the computer playing runescape or something i dont know but its freeky cuz he is really smart he finished a 800 page report in like 5 minutes and the substitute teacher snapped on him cuz he thoght he was lying but then he proved her wrong it was kind of funny cuz she thoguht he got it off the internet so he erased it all and he wrote it again in front of her eyes... pretty inspiring

last tie i did one of those lame testers it was 97 wpm

Last time I checked it was something like 20 wpm. But I typed faster two fingered.

Last time I did one of those things it was 100 wpm but I don'tdo the whole correct fingers on correct keys thing. Used to drive my Admin teacher mad because of it.

I type at around 50wps but I can go up to around 80wps. I learned a technique to use in school, the formal typist one, but I also use a bit of that hybrid with  my own way of typing, which works out fast and comfortable for me. I don't need to look at the keyboard at all any more, as soon as I sit infront of a computer its like I know where every key is.

About 50 WPM in English, a bit more in Estonian, but there're no tests to make sure how much that 'a bit' is.
800 pages in 5 minutes would be pretty cool though.

Could anyone give me a link to one of these Word testers please.
I want to see if i can write more than 1 word in a minute

That's 160 pages a minute.. approximately 2.5 pages per second. I think most people would struggle even doing 2.5 words per second..

Well according to a random site i found on google:

59 WPM.

I typed exactly 100 WPM according to some random found on google site I typed in Dutch though, if that makes a difference.

81 words per minute , but i didnt know what to write in these http://www.mrhall.org/languagearts/typing/wpm.htm test ...

my absolute fastest was 121 words a minute when i practiced the same line for 2 weeks

I use my index fingers and i got 40 WPM... not too shabby.

i remeber the last time i did one of those tests i got about 96 WPM or so

48 WPM, using proper technique (the fingers at teh right keys)

In keyboarding class, last semester I got up to 131 wpm.

But I normally type around 80-100 wpm using my own teqnique. (I use my middle finger to press erm...50% of the keys and I use the correct fingers for the rest.

i cant remember the results the last time i did a typing test

it was like 50wpm or soemthing like that

I think I type fast enough not to be annoyed by myself.

65 - 70, I made up my own typeing technique. It's basilcy use what ever finger is closest to that key sort of thing lol.

I dont use my 2 far left fingers/pinky for some reason....

I can type 82WPM, used to when I took keyboarding last year I typed ~95 WPM.

I can get close to 50wpm most of the time using correct fingers

- 42WPM typing Dutch
- 61WPM typing English

But in both situations i didn't know what to type Does anybody have a link to a better test that has a predifined text to type? (I could just have typed "a a a a a a a a a" and get 200WPM+ with this test ).

about 90 wpm, but oculdn't think of what to write in the test thing.  Don't fully use the correct technique either, I don't use my pinkys to type anything. Of course, they never taught the correct way for us in school...kinda learned on my own.

i can write like 75 wpm, in spanish but i have never take keyboard classes, so i write pretty fast for a guy that have never taken those classes. but i pass lots of hours behind a computer thats why, i use my own technique also, i have another question, do you see the keyboard to write, or you can see other thing to write? i can write with out watching keyboard but i do lots of errors, so i prefer to see the keyboard.

cool, i wish i could do that, cause when i have to copy something from a book i have to be moving my head a lot. this way i can only see the book and not the keyboard.

I used to be atrocious at typing but im getting better not exactly sure how fast though..
