Avatar/Personal Message keeps reverting - Printable Version

Hi all,
I'm having a problem on MSN Messenger (version 7.0) where my avatar and my personal message both keep reverting to the ones that I first set when I installed the application on this computer.
I can change them and the changes will stay for the remainder of my session but next time I log in they're back to how they were.
Anyone know how to fix this?

have you tryed reinstalling msn/plus?

In Options (can't remember exactly where, no Messenger to check here), there's an option that reads 'This is a shared computer, so don't store my display pictures/etc. on it'. Uncheck it, restart Messenger, and all should be fine from then on.
NB: To save the Personal Message properly, you will need to sign out before closing Messenger.

Strange, it's already unchecked! I'll try reinstalling...
Edit: upgraded to 7.5 and it seems to be ok now... I hope...!
