im slightly confused about the post however,

to use the IP! command you don't type in http:// as its not an internet site link

RE: commands not working by prashker on 09-30-2005 at 01:55 AM

ok i know what he means.

Like if he wants someone to access it maybe

his ip maybe (lets use 0.0.0.00.0)

so he wants it to say http:\\(!IP)

then the other person should see it as a link

http:\\0.0.0.00.0

Im not sure what wrong but that might help people

I guess it makes it clickable, even if you can copy and paste the IP yourself. But why would anyone want to do that?

I just tried and it works fine... do you have a firewall preventing access to msgplus.net? Messenger Plus! connects to its site for accurate IP reporting.

I havent changed any setting son my firewall since i updated msgplus, and it has never asked me to connect to the net (it will bring up a dialog box saying program has changed)

so to clarify, my pc is doubled as a file server for my website and to send files faster to peopel then msn, so to access my server, you would put the IP into a web browser. a way to make it clickable in msn is to put http:// in front.

also, (!IP) just started workign again, maybe bittorrent is forcing it to timeout someitmes... it booted me from battle.net not too long ago so i guess it was a temp problem

sorry for any inconvenieces ^^;;
