  • After graduating.. I've got 2 choices: music (piano + pop-jazz department) or English (translator). Not sure which one I'm going to choose..

I am working only now and them doing web design jobs for people around warwickshire and the west midlands, I get quite a bit of cash for that... I am going on work experience at my local Gym next week, I might get a job for that...

RE: full time jobs by rav0 on 10-07-2005 at 11:15 AM

I'm still at school, doing School Certificate this year (next month). I graduate with HSC in 2007.

I have no idea what job I want. I'd like to do something using computers, but I don't want a routine office job, something creative, perhaps working in a team.

PS maybe I'll start annoying all of you as a telemarketer soon (casual or part time) (6)!

RE: full time jobs by lordy on 10-07-2005 at 11:21 AM

you ring me @ dinner time and u get the riot act :)

RE: full time jobs by user27089 on 10-07-2005 at 11:23 AM

The telemarketer people annoy me, I always get random phone calls from people that can't even speak english, you don't even know what they're saying, so you just say something like "urr, they aren't in now, sorry bye!" and put the phone down, they don't seem to bother you again.

RE: full time jobs by user27089 on 10-07-2005 at 11:58 AM

No, what I mean, is that the company that rang you don't call again, but another company does.

Depends how long ago you went to school :P it's ALOT harder than it used to be, i mean it used to be TORTURE!! my englisht echer helped write the first VCE English course outline LMAO she goes on about it all the time, 'if you went to school 10 years ago!!'

but its apparently still one of the hardest educational certificates in the world to get
RE: full time jobs by lordy on 10-07-2005 at 12:35 PM

in some countries ;) they're not all as advanced as australia :P

RE: full time jobs by Vazza on 10-07-2005 at 01:07 PM

Well I have a part-time job working in a local petrol station (I'm hoping for a rise today since the minimum wage went up last Saturday in the UK) but I got word yesterday that I have an interview to work as a Clinical Support Worker the local hospital trust, which basically means I can be called in when the wards are short staffed. Hopefully it will help for when (or shoudl it be if) I get an interview for a Nursing course near my home.
And does making a living off of eBay count as a job?:p

RE: full time jobs by Chestah on 10-08-2005 at 07:00 AM

Well in Australia (NSW) its Kindergarten + 12 years of school before you get your HSC (Higher School Certificate). Other states like QLD only have 12 years and skip Kindergarten :P
