I love being able to personalize statuses, but it would be nice to use online as one.  Better yet, I would love it it were possible to download new status symbols... i.e. a messenger guy with his head down and zzzz rising up like he's sleeping.  Sort of how you can place an icon at the beginning of this message.  You could have mood icon's when you're online, study icons when you're online and available for study friends, but drinking buddies know to leave you alone... I don't know if this is really possible with the display picture function, but it would be handy...

You can also select the online status in the window which pops up when you change your status to away:)

is it possible to have a personal status ,i mean which you can see in the list, like "sleeping", but the status is online!????

because for example if I select "online" in the personal status, i can't type in a name for this status!

again sorry for my bad english ;-) :)

If you're online, you're online, not busy or whatever. If you wanna personalise that then you're busy with something, so choose "Busy" or even "Away".

Totally impossible. And this also isn't something Plus! could do if possible. This is totally up to the programmers of MSN Messenger...

For this there are the dynamic display pictures...

Yes, dynamic display pictures, available with MSN Messenger 7 (there are some free, but moost of them are need to be payed for). But, this has got nothing todo with Messenger Plus! And also got nothing to do with personalised statusses or the icons for the basic MSN Messenger statusses...

No.... Online means Online and can't be personalised. If you wanna personalise your status like that, choose another one like "Busy" or "Away"...

PS: If you are sleeping then you can't be online at the same time, no? So use the "Busy" status or "Away" status, that makes much more sense to personalise it to "Sleeping"...

Maybe he wants to be online and 'Surfing the Web' at the same time?

Edit:
* RaceProUK hits the nail right on the head :D

* CookieRevised pulls out the nail of raceprouk

If you want people to know you're "surfing the web", you're actually "busy" with something....

"online" means online, aka in front of your contact list waiting for someone to message you... so to speak :p... "online" doesn't mean you're busy with something else, that's what "busy" is for...
