Hiya, RE: MsgPlus on a phone? by absorbation on 10-09-2005 at 07:27 PM
view the lite version of the forums in your phone i guess. I dont use the internet on my phone RE: MsgPlus on a phone? by CookieRevised on 10-09-2005 at 07:29 PM If you have a phone which could surf the web, yes... Some people do this already, it simply works as if you're behind the PC (but a bit slower and smaller of course)... RE: MsgPlus on a phone? by Nathan on 10-09-2005 at 07:32 PM it doesnt work though on mine i mean could it work on gprs or html? RE: MsgPlus on a phone? by hexel on 10-09-2005 at 07:53 PM Am I way off if I say that WAP uses Micro Browser, which can display information written in WML (based on XML) or WMLScript, not HTML? RE: MsgPlus on a phone? by wj on 10-09-2005 at 08:05 PM
Most phones that can browse the internet are setup for WAP AND HTML. Few phones discriminate between them. RE: MsgPlus on a phone? by Nathan on 10-09-2005 at 08:06 PM Ok, It says cannot display webPAGE, IS IT BEACUSE ITS PHP? RE: MsgPlus on a phone? by Ezra on 10-09-2005 at 08:19 PM No, cause it's just HTML, php is only important for the server RE: MsgPlus on a phone? by Mike on 10-09-2005 at 08:52 PM

quote:What phone? Your phone probably only supports WML - WAP Markup. Not HTML. If that is the case, we're not going to be restructuring and recreating the forums for WAP use. quote:Does the phone support XHTML? You need a phone supporting at least HTML, XHTML to view these forums correctly. If your phone supports Java, i'd recommend using the Opera version for mobile phones (SymbianOS based phones can use one on the Opera site, other people you'll have to find a copy of the beta - it's initially in russian if that helps). Use Opera instead of the browser on your phone because their support is limited for the markup. RE: MsgPlus on a phone? by Mike on 10-09-2005 at 10:16 PM
quote:I think it does, because http://www.google.com/xhtml works fine... ![]() quote:Yes, it does support Java, but since its not a symbian phone, I will wait for the English version of the program... ![]() RE: MsgPlus on a phone? by surfichris on 10-09-2005 at 10:58 PM
quote:Even still, the implementationo f XHTML on mobile phones is limited. quote:You can switch the UI to English, it's just that it is in Russian the first time you use it. People provide instructions on how to do so along with it. Chris RE: MsgPlus on a phone? by Ash_ on 10-10-2005 at 09:51 AM
