Desktop Notepad [Concept Added] by zach on 10-15-2005 at 11:42 PM

I would like to have a notepad on my desktop just like the desktop contacts. I thought that since it's possible to make desktop contacts, that this could be done too. It would be similar to the post-it notes found here.
It would be even better if it had more features than just writing notes. For example, having a scheduler. Plus already has a scheduler, so if this could be placed into the desktop notepad, it would be very useful.
I might try and make some examples if alot of people thing that this would be a really good idea...

Edit:

Here's what I think the notes should look like...

"Set." Would go to the settings page to change things like note color, transparency and Always on Top (The display settings that the desktop contacts have) By clicking and holding, you could resize and move the note.

"Edit" Would change the note or schedule time

"Close" Would close the note

Something similar to that would be great (h)

First, what does this have to do with Plus!, and second, why were program windows invented?

It doesn't really have anything to do with plus exept for that plus has desktop contacts and schedules... Program windows were invented so that you could use the program o_0

I know there is, I just linked to one too, but for various reasons, I would rather have it in plus. Don't ask why.

It's nice to know I still have power over the Posting Freaks :P

Resizable -> Will mess up the image :P but its possible :P
RE: Desktop Notepad [Concept Added] by Knad on 10-28-2005 at 10:30 PM

this looks very promising, i think if it where linked to plus it would be better, so it would load up my notes when plus loads and save them?

also a couple of features maybe color, transparency (i dont use standard windows theme and i know many others dont, so if we coupld change color to suit)

Good work so far tho :) and very fast :p
