Favourite fonts by Lou on 10-24-2005 at 11:51 PM

As some of you have noticed, I am starting to do alot more design work than before. This keeps my mind off other things and lets me learn new ways of doing things.

I currently started using photoshop, fireworks, and paint all as a team and my results are much better than anything I thought I could do. Of course to most people on here my designs will suck, but I am fairly happy with this.

Any good webdesigner needs good fonts.

So pixel fonts, spray paint fonts, retro fonts...all welcome.

[Free please]

This could be a very good resource for everyone.

Just be sure to include a link to the download:)

Please also include an image, or link to an image showing what the font looks like:)

I like Comic Sans MS... My font in IM used to be that... bold... and red... Had it that way for years...

Recently switched to Andy... Bold... Red.

Sylfaen is my favourite; I think it comes with Windows XP. Simple, but elegant.

I used Andy on my home PC, but since moving to uni and buying a laptop with XP Pro preinstalled I don't have access to Andy anymore. . . . so if anyone wants to attach...:P

how do you attach the font? :s... lol... I'm dumb... I clicked browse, found where the font was under C: and windows... then fonts... But when I tried to open it or whatever it opened a font preview.

Crazy, you're right I just tried it for myself. Never mind, I'll get someone to send it over MSN tomorrow or something. I really should go to bed, it's 4am and I have a lecture at 9 haha.

EDIT: Excuse my rudeness.....Thanks for trying!

I don't think so, but it does impact shutdown time, and load times of Photoshop and similar programs.
