If anyone has a transparent shortcut icon, could they please give me a link to it or attach it so I can download it?

if u can tell me where i can find the .ico file for a normal one i could try and make one... or atleast edit the original one

Well I'm not sure if this will work, but I went into WINDOWS\system32\Shell32.dll and used reshack to find the icon under Icons/254. There might be an easier way to change it though. I have seen people using different icons for that shortcut one, but they have programs to change it. I just want the icon from those packs...

Edit: I found an icon, but I don't know how to swap it with the original one. The icons not very good, so if someone can find another one, that would be good.

TweakUI lets you turn off the Shortcut icons.

You can have it completely gone, half gone, so theres just a small white outline and a Custom one so it can be whatever you want
