just a thought, wouldnt it be better if the forum clock is in real-time, instead of having it change every time the page is refreshed?

what would be the point in that? , if you want the time look at your taskbar.
I use the static clock to know when i clicked on that page (if ive had a tab open for ages)

Well... is there a way that you could have a choice between the real-time or static clock?... Then both sides would be happy 
even though it's outnumbered that the static clock is better.

Nothing wrong with js, it's used for the private message popups etc.
If I knew how to make greasemonkey scripts I'd do it It's easy to just get it to change every second.
