MSN Help Link

Check the help files out. Seems like they can't even spell "Windows" properly....

"Free Virus Scanner" for Windows Live Messenger. It links to the Windows Live Security Center page anyways.

Edit: Found something interesting:

quote:
About other instant messaging networks
Windows Live Messenger supports different instant messaging networks. However, some features may not be available for all networks. Consequently, you may not be able to use all of the Messenger features with contacts who use those networks.

Here are some limitations you may have with contacts using another network:

- You can only send instant messages or view their status. Sharing Folders, File Transfer, audio video or other features are not supported.
- When you add this type of contact, there is no way to verify the e-mail address, so be sure you type it correctly.
- When you are away or at a meeting, your status will appear Online to this contact. You must manually set your status to busy if you do not want to appear as Online.
- Multiparty instant message sessions are not supported with this contact.

So?

That help link is highly experimental. Windows Live Messenger itself isn't even in beta testing yet (afaik). Everything you find like those help pages are just temporary and quick tryouts. Even the information on them is possible to be inaccurate.

PS: and if you post such links like that, please split them over several lines and use the [url][/url] tags instead! That long link messes up the whole thread layout...
