Inspiration From CyberDudes Media Plug-in by Mentality on 11-11-2005 at 10:41 AM

Ok so I was looking at CD's Media Controller On Ad Space BETA plug-in and got to thinking. I posted this on a seperate thread because he's releasing the source to whom ever he chooses, so this is basically an Idea to whoever takes it over, or for anyone who might wanna make there own plug-in based on that idea.

See when covering add's came to mind for me, yes the main add at the bottom, but what if we put those annoying tabs at the side to use as well, instead of simply hiding them.

Please excuse my terrible photoshop skills, this is just to give a general idea of what I was thinking.

I'm not a programmer, so I wouldn't be able to do this myself, nor do I know if it is possible.

Thanks "NJ" Ive updated the picture, this one looks abit better because I spent abit more time on it. not much difference though, and also put a little warning that it aint the real thing incase people start to ask, or it gets spread lol. (not that the note couldnt be deleted)

does anybody think they could make this?, I really think it would be very popular.

The Windows media player effects bellow the contact list itself would eat up ram i think..
Anyway, that just needs a bit of visual talent and yep it's a nice prog..
BUT, iirc juzzi has a prog that can already do a Winamp/WMP controler on that ad thingie..

Yep I know but this is a different "visual variation". it just came to mind when I saw CyberDudes version, I never said it was and original idea. I just think this would be a better looking version.

I would prefer Mentality's idea if anybody was up to making it because tabs are not removed by skins etc

Juzzi! do you think you might be able to make yours similar to my idea in a future release maybe?

I would like it so the program did not display in the taskbar, it would be a great idea as i do not want the taskbar culltered and i would just use the normal player controller istead :P

[update] - I wondered did anyone ever give this idea any consideration. I mean now that the tabs can be disbled, its even better, because adding a new button that links to that below the tabs, would also be a way of disabling/hiding the media player controls.

I think this would be great if Juzzi integrated the idea into his current version. Anyway, I just don't want to see this idea go to waste. :P

Obviously a WLM version needs to be considered as well.
