windows media player on startup? by DJKAL on 11-16-2005 at 09:35 PM

is it possable to get windows media player 10 to start when your PC does?
i was told it was but you'd need a code to type into "run" anyone know of this?

also my windows media player 10 doesnt remember my "now playing list" when i close it and/or shut down my pc - it used to though :S anyone know which settings i may have changed?

thanks guys:P much appreciated:)

if you want to start WMP10 at startup, just put a shortcut to WMP into the Start -> All programs -> Startup folder

You could make a shortcut to a music file or playlist... If WMP is your default media player, it'll open up to play it.

yes that is what he means i think :)
Just create shortcut to one of your playlist (your playlists are usually stored in My Documents -> My Music -> My playlists or something like that) and put the shortcut to the playlist in the startup folder instead of the shortcut to the player
