Quick question - windows messenger? by dilapper on 11-18-2005 at 09:22 AM

Hey folks

I think i know the answer to this one but thought id ask in case anyone here has any other suggestions.

At work, we're not really allowed to use msn messenger - but they have neglected to remove windows messenger from my pc so im gonna go ahead and use it.

Of course, Boss Protection would be nice so i can quickly dump all my open converstation windows etc and stop people talking to me while ive got my boss stood near me.

So, first question is therefore - Does the latest build of msgplus support Windows Messenger 4.7?

My assumption here is no it does not. Which, if true, leads me to my next question...

Are there any old msgplus builds that DO support windows messenger - or does anyone know a decent plugin (similar to msgplus) which could help?

Thanks y'all

Dave

haha yeah it supports it as you know...most companies don't remove windows messenger! i suppose thats the good thing about having it automatically on the computer even though it annoys most people!

But not fully 100%. Some features are not compatible with Windows Messenger.

Support will also gradually be less and less.

But many often block the connection.

To prevent Windows Messenger from starting up automatically see: "CookieRevised's reply to I am about to rip my hair out over MS Messanger"
