on connect.microsoft is says welcom to the cev program and it says you will be able to test new products such as msn messenger does that mean im in the beta team?

all the programs there are the ones you are on the beta team. if it doesnt say anything then you are not on any team

connect is their new betaplace...
its sorta a more user friendly and community style beta zone..
say a mix of newsgroups and beta place..

The page on Connect is misleading. Only when you recieve a welcome email are you a part of the "beta team". Nothing else matters.

I agree, two domains are a mess to deal with. But BetaPlace is becoming very redundant.
