I upgraded my Messenger Plus to V 3.61 and now when I'm chatting I can't send messenges by hitting the ENTER key. I have to use the mouse and click SEND, that's the only way it works.
I unistalled Messenger Plus, and then the problem was solved.
So I tried reinstalling Messenger Plus, and the problem returned.
MSN Messenger version is: 7.0.0816.
This started when I Upgraded to 3.61

What version of windows are you running?
Does Alt+S send the message?
Does this only seem to happen when you have multiple convos open that Plus! tabs?

Alt+s doesn't work. I have win 2k.
I'm not quite sure what this means: "convos open that Plus! tabs"
The latetest update: I asked an IT guy from my office to unistall and reisntall MSGR. It seemed to be working but when I came back the next day and restarted the computer the problem came back!
I'm going crazy!! ANY IDEAS?

have you tried removing messenger plus! to see if that solves the problem? are you using any plugins with messenger plus! ?

I originally unistalled Messenger Plus, and then the problem was solved. So I reinstalled it and the problem came back. So I figured that if I removed it again the problem would stop but today I got the same problem w/o PLUS being installed and having MSN messenger completely reinstalled once more.
No plugins!

Sounds reg related... I'm pretty good with computers and the reg sounds like something that would be affected upon restart. Try checking that.

ok.. this might sound really obvious, but does your enter key work in other programs?
There ARE some ppl who wouldnt check that first

I an update regarding this issue:
Now the ALT+S works fine instead of the ENTER. ENTER still doesn't work.
And now it might be working fine, and then without rebooting the computer it just stops working all of a sudden. Sometimes closing and reopening the program works, but sometimes it doesn't!
