Slideshows within browser... by kierant on 11-26-2005 at 03:04 AM

When looking at an image gallery on a website that doesn't have a built-in slideshow, it can be really tedious having to open the image, go back, and select the next image - often involving scrolling to find it or selecting the next page.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a program or browser add-on that could enable me to select something along the lines of 'view images on page as slideshow', that sort of thing. Thanks

Opera features Fast Forward. You just click the Fast Forward button (on the browser toolbar, or use the mouse gesture), and it automatically finds and goes to the next page for you. This will only work where there is a "Next image" link.

Opera also lets you view the links on a page, in a special Panel. In the Links Panel, you can select the links that you want, then open them all.

Thanks for the reply. I currently use Firefox but I shall give Opera a go for this function. I hear it's not a huge resource hog or anything so if it works as I hope I might keep it just for that function and stick with Firefox in general.(Y)

Any other suggestions?

Thanks buddy. Well here'sa random site with a few screenshots in the layout that I meant: http://www.gamershell.com/ps3/e3_2005_playstation...s/screenshots.html
Even if what I ask for isn't possible, thanks anyway for our time.

p.s would this work on all sites with a similar layout?
