christmas blog construction by stoshrocket on 11-29-2005 at 03:27 PM

for the new website im constructing, im trying to get a blog up. Ive got no idea how to do it and contain it within one page, ie/. how can i do it so it has the blog entries at the bottom counting from 1 to whatever without having to forever add a link to a seperate page.... im guessing using php and a log file maybe like a counter only more complicatd, any ideas? thanks

hmm... they all look a bit complicated and a bit too much, thanks for the help anyway guys, ill try and figure it out...

after countless hours of looking on php websites for help, ive found out the real name for what i want; pagination! but all the ones ive seen explaining pagination are using mySQL, anyone know if there is a method without using mySQL (ive got one, but well, one!)???
EDIT:: or does anyone know if i can just use the one database for it???

Yeah you can use just one database for it :)

Infact it may ask you what you want the head of the columns it uses to be so you could even use a SQL table you already have made for something else
