RE: Microsoft Office 12 by DJeX on 12-02-2005 at 10:49 PM

WOW thats the uglyest program I've ever seen.

RE: Microsoft Office 12 by wj on 12-02-2005 at 10:53 PM

There is a reason they call it a "Beta" and have NDA's that specifically state testers are not allowed to post images of the product.

Mostly because they havent finished up the graphics and fine tuning of the interface, They dont want the "WOW thats the uglyest program I've ever seen." reaction from people looking at an un-finished product.

Your not supposed to say anything, Your not supposed to see it. Anyone who has proper access to it is told "This is not the finished interface, Expect a more polished and finished interface with Beta 2"

That means that i should remove the picture?
RE: Microsoft Office 12 by wj on 12-02-2005 at 11:28 PM

I'm guessing your not an official beta tester, So I really dont care either way, but it's up to you.

When?

and Why do you call it Office 11?
RE: Microsoft Office 12 by Supersonicdarky on 12-03-2005 at 01:30 AM

because thats the name ^o)

11 = 2003
12 = 2004

i had it about a month ago... i hated it...

edit: yay! 800 posts :o):o):o)

RE: Microsoft Office 12 by wj on 12-03-2005 at 02:44 AM

It hasnt been available for a month :-P It was released as Beta 1 a little over a week and a half. Otherwise it was just available to select Microsoft employees.

12 = 2006
I was just suprised because I've never heard anyone refer to it as Office 11, even in the early betas.

How did you like the new interface in publisher SSD?
