i just finished installing windows xp media center edition and i cant find some of the cool features it is supposed to have such as [Image: mce2004_01.jpg]
it didnt come with the royale theme either ...where might i find this stuff or whats the problem?

Are you sure its MCE?  MCE comes with Royale bydefault so..

i dont really care about the skin but i got it but i really want to know what is up with not being able to find [Image: mce2004_01.jpg]

It should be in Start > Programs.

But if the Royale visual style isn't there, then there is something wrong.

mce 2002 dosnt come with any of that fancy stuff. tbh i dont know what the diff is between xp home and xp mce 2002

Only MCE 2005 has the Royale style... but I don't know why there's no Media Center. :S

well i went to microsoft's site and looked around and it said to get all the fancy stuff that is supposed to come with mce u have to get some rollover 2 update so i downloaded it but it said that it wont work on this operating system and it is the right operating system!

i didnt mean it that way.  i meant how can i update it to wher it will have some of the features mce 2005 has?  or is that not possible? (such as the media center)

nero 7 has a thing called nero home.... it looks the same... heres a screenshot.. (i dont have media centre edition..)
