Hiya all, RE: Battery Metre by Mike on 12-04-2005 at 01:57 PM
I dont think that there is a laptop that shows how much time its needed for the battery to die... RE: Battery Metre by Nathan on 12-04-2005 at 02:14 PM There's loads of laptops which do this as i've seen schols one which do that and my mu has a sony viao one and that does it. RE: Battery Metre by lordy on 12-04-2005 at 02:16 PM Every single laptop i've ever used has had this, apples included, but i dont usually use laptops, and i havent used ME in years. usually its just like that by default in my experience RE: Battery Metre by Nathan on 12-04-2005 at 02:22 PM Is there some software that changes this to do what I want ? quote: You could try Konfabulator, comes with an automatic bttery meter, I dont know how accurate it is though, and it shows in % btw.. anyways here's the link if you want to try it.. www.konfabulator.com RE: Battery Metre by pollolibredegrasa on 12-04-2005 at 08:39 PM
Dont know how "correct" this may be, but this may be the problem. RE: Battery Metre by tomfletcherman on 12-05-2005 at 04:51 PM
Well my laptop does have the remaining time on it, and in response to Mike - if it is displayed as a percentage, the battery remaining time changes according to how much processor power you are using, so you could have 80% and 1 hour, implying that you are running quite heavy apps, but if you closed the app, the percentage would stay at 80%, but the time remaining on the battery might be 2:13.
