WMA to MP3 conversion by Salem on 12-15-2005 at 09:59 PM

Hi

i need help. Does anyone know of free software i can use to convert WMA files to MP3. i have dB PoweAmp Music Converter, but my trial of the PowerPack has expired. I need an app ASAP. I found some trial ones, but those trials either can only batch convert x number of files, or can convert a certain length only.

Even a fully functional limited trial is ok.

Thanks

You need to convert your digital audio files to MP3 format, but you have tired to start audio conversion utility every time? Try to use our All To MP3 Converter - it gives you ability to start conversion directly from your Windows Explorer. All you need to do is simply select audio files, click on them with alternate mouse button and start "Convert to MP3" command from Explorer's context menu. All To MP3 Converter supports WMA, OGG, MP3, APE, FLAC and WAV PCM source formats, ID3v2 Tag (copying from WMA or OGG source or creation of a new one). Thus you can quickly and easily convert with this tool every audio file you have just found in folders on your computer into MP3 format with all possible settings.

Editor's Note: The best tool for all who loves shell extensions. Can convert WMA to MP3, OGG to MP3, WAV to MP3, APE to MP3, FLAC to MP3 and CD to MP3.

(I did not write that(a))

Try Switch, the freeware version already does what you want.

Yes, this used to be the case, however, in the new version it is part of the PowerPack :(, it is apparently something to do with licensing issues. dB PowerAmp is excellenct, its juts a pity u have to use something else just to convert to MP3
