Many programs make images aninmate. Some are better than others, a popular choice is photoshop or fireworks however there are pacfic program designed for making animated images, however some do not export in the disered quality.

Please note: For the image to aninmate you need to export it is an animated gif. :)

Most Photoshop use Adobe Image Ready.
You use different layers and show them at different times.
They have to be a .gif file for them to work.

Try this:

I was just going to post the same topic...
I like Ulead GIF Animator, it's great, easy to use and understand.. but it costs and the trial has run out..
Anyone reccomend any others that are free?

I use Ulead GIF Animator 2 (Yes, it's very old, but I found the full version on a magazine some years ago).
I don't know if The Gimp does this, I can't check now, it's too late, I need to go to bed. :P
So, try The Gimp, it's like photoshop but It's free.

Looks too complicated. I just want a simple program to make simple animations.

I'll give it a try, thanks..
