Burning AVI file to DVD by Jhrono on 12-23-2005 at 01:11 AM

I have a program to do this sort of stuff, but it really ain't working..what i want is a program that can burn an AVI file into a dvd, if possible a fast one...And no i don't want to convert the avi in a dvd-a-like structure first..

PS - It must be able to play in a DVD Player

The AVI will have to be converted to DVD format no matter what, you can't just burn an AVI and expect it to play in a DVD player. The most common and friendly DVD encoder/burner is NeroVision.

It will most likely take a while because it will need to fix the audio, framerate and dimensions.

I know an avi can't play in a dvd player, what i need is a burning software which converts to dvd itself and burns at the same time

Nerovision does that.

Indeed. You will need the Nero MPEG-2 Codec for NeroVision to be able to convert an AVI (with or without a codec) into an MPEG-2 (DVD) format.
