i have a new laptop and need some anti virus software, for free
obviously it has to work well and not screw the hell out of my laptop.
any suggestions please post herw {WITH LINKS!}
and if you have had experiance with one posted please say as i want a decent one :)

You could get windows one care beta for 30 days :P

Or you could get avg antivirus.

you could try paying for some software or does as most people do and download some :P

On Download.com,

AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 7.2.89 is the most downloaded [freeware] Antivirus program.

Followed by Avast Home Edition 4.6

So try them out and see what you think. I have AVG and think it's fine.

I also suggest AVG free edition i use it, works great just as well as a payed one, highly recommended.

Im running avast ..... its awesome. Just a small registration and you get a 14 month sn.
Its pretty effective ;) Looks good so far.
Its running quite a few processes (4-5) each taking about 6 mb ram. But my pc is perfectly smooth so it aint biting my ass.
