Ok.. i have Avg now.. but i used to have.. Norton Antivirus.. a friend tried to send me some stuff.. And it says.. Virus scan failed..

Now... i went to File transfer options.. but that had the old settings (Norton Antivirus)

What i need to know..

What i need to do now? what file i need to select.. :$

Or do i have to Reinstall norton? (My suscription ended, thats why i switched)

try each one :P...add me to MSN at sammyprashker@hotmail.com and I will send u a text file. there will be 1 that will actually scan :P....


or my mind says try the "avgscan" one :P

Start by unhiding the extension of files, so you can properly see what file is what....

Hiding them is always asking for trouble in one way or the other (I know it's hidden by default, but that default option su**s and should never have been default in Windows)

1) Windows Explorer > Tools > Options > View > Untick "Hide extension for known file types"
2) After that press on "Apply to all folders"

you don't need to enable the option, you need to disable it, untick it...

I selected avgw.exe.. its working good.. thanks for ur help guys :)
