as im coming to an end of my computer building, i started to look at the DG834GT NetGear wireless router; fast, has good reviews BUT, someone has told me that this peice of kit doesnt allow you to use MSN 7.0, can anyone deny/confirm this?? RE: NetGear DG834GT 108mbp/s MSN worries by Jhrono on 12-29-2005 at 10:49 PM That can only be shit.. What you might have to do is to open ports so that messenger can work.. RE: NetGear DG834GT 108mbp/s MSN worries by rav0 on 12-30-2005 at 02:35 AM FYI My Netcomm NB5580W tells me that I will need to set up some special application stuff on it before I can use MSN Messenger, but MSN Messenger works even without following the instructions. quote:It's not difficult at all. Almost all routers have a web interface built in to configuration. You visit the router from a web browser (type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar or similar), and then just click the right things, easy as posting a reply on this forum.
