i went on holidays on the 19th of Dec, didnt have internet access til now, i come back, check my hotmail inbox and there is an invite dated the 19th. i use the ID given to me, it now says:

The invitation code you entered is invalid, assigned to another person, or else the program is no longer accepting invitations.

is there anyway to get another one from microsoft?
do current WLM got invites?

i can give screen shot need be

any help?

The person that gave it to you probably changed their mind and gave it to somebody else. Cause I got mine 2 days ago and they were still accepting invites.

well i got my invite from microsoft, so unless microsoft gave my code to someone else?

Its a known bug in the invite system. There have been alot of invites being given out which go invalid very quickly. The only thing you can do is email the person who sent it to you and ask for another one if/when they get more invites to send out.

I don't know if your email stated this, but during the first round (1st generation) of emails, it stated "Also, the space for this beta is limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis so do not hesitate to follow the instructions below if you are interested in taking part.".

just stick with msn 7.5 tbh

Email Microsoft, msnbetax@microsoft.com or one of the beta team members. Surprisingly enough, they actually get back to you on that sort of stuff. They fixed a similar problem for me.

i emailed Microsoft Connect Help (mchelp@microsoft.com) and this is what they replied:

Based on reviewing your record, it appears that any invitation you received for WLM was sent from outside the Microsoft Connect system.  As such, we can not assist you.  All email sent from Microsoft Connect is sent from msftconn@microsoft.com.

so i just replied to msnbetax@microsoft.com. we'll see what happens

btw, msnbetax@microsoft.com is the right invite email yeh?

Yes that is the email they use to email invitations. What was the email address that you received the original invitation from?

yeh i received my invite from -> msnbetax@microsoft.com

i just replied to that email, not sure if people read that inbox but yeh, we'll see if they reply and help me out
