Be quick! Be quick! I got a way to cheat your way into becoming a Live Mail tester

First make sure your settings in mail are:
Language --> English
Country --> United States
State --> Florida

Then copy and paste this link in Internet Explorer (as it only works in that browser). After that sign in but it should not work so to make the magic happen copy and use the link again and voila you are testing the new Live Mail.

If anyone needs a FL zipcode, put 33027.

Open with IE only (or with IE tab in Firefox). It might need you to click on the link TWICE before it works.

It's probably legal... cause it's a bug... so it's legal... frowned upon. But legal... And once they fix the bug you gotta hope they can't tell who all did that .

The link is still up cause people who posted added me say that it worked. But i dont see anything different And leo aint even online now I asked absor but he didnt reply and went offline

If I get Live Mail will I still be abled to use hotmail with Outlook?

Remember you must use IE to do so and make sure your settings match, plus it does not work the first but second time

   You should still be able to use hotmail for pop3 however you did it before hand. The only change is on the hotmail site, your interface is different

This trick was posted on Neowin , tried it immediately.  Works mostly on old accounts, newer accounts might have issues getting it to work.

Everything still works someone tryed today and they said it works fine

i tried it, as stated to do, re-tried cos it didnt work and then it came up with the "windows live mail BETA" page and i clicked to join the BETA but .... it then just signed me into normal hotmail, im not sure if this is cos my settings arent as florida ... how do i change this?

I am not saying i think it is illegal because of the errors.

The reason i say it might be illegal is because of the fact that this method allows you to use Windows Live Mail without receiving an invitation email or clicking on the green button in MSN Hotmail.

To me it's the same as people using Windows Live Messenger without receiving an invitation email. Maybe my thinking is wrong though.

Is it just me or everyone got an invitation for Windows live Mail?

I just received an invitation for both my accounts. just wanted to know if everyone got it... bleh dunnoe wat i want to say........

Well i for one got an invite from microsoft soon after i couldnt get this to work

HUH! i got the invitation without even cheating nor changing my location

by default it is lebanon! and i got an invitation from microsoft even though my location is still lebanon ( lol i dont mean physicaly i mean the profile).

Wierd... both my accounts are Singapore... haha i didn't change anything except few years ago when they started offering 250 mb of email space... lolz... wat i want to know if ms has started mass invite the public ^^
