Before I installed messenger plus I could go straight to my hotmail account now i get the following message
"To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for options..."
How do I stop it and get it back to normal

This is nothing to do with Messenger Plus! this is Service Pack 2 for Windows XP.

Did you install StuffPlug for Messenger Plus! and have it opening links in default browser?

That doesn't really make sense?... obviously he probably uses it... otherwise he wouldn't have it.

You don't need to disable the plugin, just the 'Open all links in default browser' option.
