(/showthread.php?tid=55061) graphics card? by Val on 01-19-2006 at 03:43 AM Hey guys im wondering if a GeForce4 MX 4000 can support dual screens? RE: graphics card? by [MR] on 01-19-2006 at 03:57 AM i have that graphics card. The card has a normal vga oulet in it and an S video outlet in it. So, if you have a tv or moniter with S video compatibility then you can have dual moniters. RE: graphics card? by Adeptus on 01-19-2006 at 05:37 AM
Absolutely, provided you have a dual head card. MX 4000 chipset is capable of it, but not all third party manufactured cards include the second connector. RE: graphics card? by RaceProUK on 01-19-2006 at 12:21 PM
It doesn't have to be two VGA/DVI - one of the heads can be S-Video. RE: graphics card? by Adeptus on 01-19-2006 at 03:05 PM You can use S-video output on most cards, but that has very limited applications and usually isn't what people want to do when they ask about dual head -- so it wasn't mentioned.
