I think what you should get is DreamWeaver, that's only if you don't want to learn how to design a website properly and just point and click to create it. You can download the trial version from www.macromedia.com.

I wouldn't recommend using WYSIWYG software though, as it doesn't make you any better at web design, you should really learn to write websites in notepad.

Learning to design a website is easier than it looks, it's just got a very simple structure, then lots of different tags in between that are easy as hell to remember, send me a pm, and I'll help you with it.

:( bluevoda was 100% drag & drop but it saves the file as ".bvp" {bluevoda} and then you need hosting from them :@
thre must be some other drag and drop web-builders:sad:

drag and drop creates problems with the code and in certain broswers does not display right. You have hosting i suggest you learn html, it usally takes people a day to understand i can use examles of people from the forums :P

DJKAL: Frontpage seems to be popular among persons with those requirements -- "drag and drop", no technical skills needed to create relatively complex sites.  The drawback ( besides being called a n00b :P ) is that it works best when your host supports something called Frontpage Extensions;  it can still be used without the extensions, but some features won't be available.

Dreamweaver is a pretty good tool.  The notepad masochists are overlooking the fact it's not what you use as much as how you use it.  You can make your site 100% hand-written code using DW as your primary editor, just as you would in notepad.  You would still benefit from an easy preview, syntax highlighting, CSS style editing, templates (if you need to create multiple similar pages), built-in upload to server, and so forth.

No matter what you use, learning some HTML and CSS (for starters) is a great idea.  I second the suggestion of w3schools.com for that.  :)
