You have to be a well-trusted friend of Patchou and highly respected in the messenger community! Patchou only selects a handful of people that he knows he can trust not to leak the beta and that he think will do the best job of beta testing the product.

Still working on that "SP Options window not opening properly" bug. Many people don't reply when I give one of the (test) solutions I have gathered. GRRRRR

Hey if we get to apply I'll give a go at that ... I know my chances are slim of getting picked... But I always thought it'd be cool to have a little "Official Tester" thing... lol.

To apply for beta testing Plus! Live see "Do you want to beta test Messenger Plus! Live ?" and follow the instructions given in the first post by Patchou.
