downloading trouble...help please! by lefty17 on 01-26-2006 at 03:23 AM

I had msn messenger plus installed, then it randomly went away. now its not letting me re-download. I click 'download' then it says 'run' or 'save' and so i click save, and it says 'downloading' with that little bar that fills up as it completes...when its done, that box dissapears and absolutely nothing happens. help please?

if it randomly went away it probably means that the process got closed.  there is some program that will start it with messenger, just cant remember what it is called.

Is Messenger Plus! still installed? Check where you installed it or on your 'Add/Remove Programs' list.

I think you are talking about the Messenger Plus! Automatic Recovery Options.
Edit: AppLoader

no, it was in someone signature a while back.  but that would work as well.

just follow this path in my computer :  C:\Program Files\MessengerPlus! 3

then find the Plus! exe program and double click it.

I think the problem is this, if you click open then installation would take effect after the download is complete but if you should click on save, after the download is completed you would then have to find the location of the file (location on you computer where it is sent to) and then run it manually.(Y)
