why is it that if i have a short cut to a game pinned to my start menu the game will always have an unexpected error occur whereas when i have a short cut on my desktop it has no errors. whats the deal here?

are there any extra parameters set in the start menu shortcut?

So when you go to the folder of the game, create a shortcut of the launcher and drag it into the start menu, it doesn't work?

well you can always just copy the shortcut from the desktop to the one in the start menu and it should then start working from the start menu. Like just paste over the one thats not working
