i can connect to internet eplorer and limewire. but my computer is telling me that i cannot sign on to msn messenger due to my firewall settings. i have tried everything to fi it. if anyone can help me please. i need help asap

hmmm.... what versions of msn, plus, any other plugins you have? have you tried connecting with your firewall disabled for a while,
dont double post, its against the rules, use the edit button (lower right of post)

oops okay i apologize i didnt know that... uhm the version is 7.5.. when i run the troubleshouter.. everything is checkmarked.. i dont know what else to try .. thx

what firewall are you using??
besides... msn always tells you about your firewall (together with other things)... it's the default error message for when it cannot see an internet connection..
