I just tried dragging & Dropping data into the DVD+R Drive of my computer. I then clicked on copy to CD. But Windows tels me to insert a CD, when i inserted a DVD it wouldn't work. RE: Windows XP won't creat CD by matty on 02-09-2006 at 10:13 PM As far as I am aware windows only has the capability of writing to a CD R/RW. I don't think it writes to DVDs. I could be mistaken. RE: Windows XP won't creat DVD by Hank on 02-09-2006 at 11:12 PM will Roxio8 do the job? RE: Windows XP won't creat DVD by rav0 on 02-11-2006 at 05:37 AM How about installing a virtual burner. You could drag and drop into the virtual burner, and have windows burn a HighMAT disk, but since its a virtual drive, it doesn't actually go to a disk, but you save it as a disk image. Then burn the files from the image to a DVD. RE: RE: Windows XP won't creat DVD by Salem on 02-12-2006 at 10:24 AM
quote: Good idea. Where/how can i set-up this virtual burner? I will try it as soon as i here back from Panasonic. coz i ended up burning a standard ISO data DVD containing the files (WMA files mainly) but my DVD Player won't play it even though it is HighMAT Picture & Audio compatible (it can play WMA files). |
