RE: Need some advice. by qgroessl on 02-17-2006 at 02:28 AM Any HP brand printer is usually good... I like laser printers myself. RE: Need some advice. by Caboose on 02-17-2006 at 02:37 AM
I have an HP PSC 1300, and it's wonderful. Just don't install that extra bloated crap... RE: Need some advice. by qgroessl on 02-17-2006 at 02:38 AM
quote: Agreed... waste of memory and space on your computer... If it prints things... and prints things with good quality... why install a bunch of junk that you won't ever use anyways. RE: Need some advice. by Supersonicdarky on 02-17-2006 at 03:04 AM
depends on your budget, jet/laser, only printer/all in one RE: Need some advice. by YourNeibour on 02-17-2006 at 03:07 AM

Canon Pixma iP5000 (i have that one (it can print on cds is you hack it because north american version doesn't have it for some reason) RE: Need some advice. by RaceProUK on 02-17-2006 at 12:12 PM If yu're lucky, Windows XP may recognise an HP printer, so you won't have to install any drivers! My PC recognised my DeskJet 3550. RE: Need some advice. by Chestah on 02-17-2006 at 12:14 PM

HP printers are cheap and work well but the ink is a rip off, I have payed double the printer's cost in ink over this year RE: Need some advice. by K.Rishi on 02-17-2006 at 09:31 PM
yea.. hp and lexmark tend to make up for cheap printers through their prince of ink! I have a old HP PSC 1400, works like a charm RE: Need some advice. by YourNeibour on 02-18-2006 at 02:04 AM I'm leaning more towards HP. Do I need an expensive printer for it to be good? RE: RE: Need some advice. by K.Rishi on 02-18-2006 at 02:26 AM
quote: Not really.. if you intend on using them for regular activities... like printing documents/small pictures... then you can go with an average one, but if you are interested in something like an all in one printer.. they are usually more expensive... and a step up from that is the laser printer... but for normal use... i'd just got with a normal inkjet ![]() -- Rishi RE: Need some advice. by albert on 02-18-2006 at 02:31 AM If you're able to get a good deal with a laser printer, I'd go for that. All in ones might be good, and practical for all their abilities, but my lexmark's just killing me when comes the time to buy ink. I have about 90$ CND of ink every 2 or 3 months. It is a total waste. RE: Need some advice. by YourNeibour on 02-18-2006 at 02:41 AM Laser printer I don't want because the cartrages are really expensive. the HP printers that are lazer are about 140 but cartrages are 100 RE: Need some advice. by YourNeibour on 02-19-2006 at 02:27 AM What about the HP Photosmart 8050 |
