Messenger log stylesheet by Serynth on 02-21-2006 at 08:30 AM

While waiting for Plus! for WLM, edited the message log stylesheet to be more like what a saved (to RTF) conversation looks like.

code:
Serynth says:
It uses the MSN conversation style and preserves multiple   spaces     and
  new
  lines
but is otherwise no different from the standard stylesheet (in terms of smilies, etc.). It's no MSN+ conversation log, sadly, but it's somewhat more copy-pastable. To use, place in the log directory [by default, usually C:\Documents and Settings\(Username)\My Documents\My Received Files\(email + some numbers)\History], preferably backing up/renaming the original MessageLog.xsl first so as not to lose it.

Hope this helps someone out.

Wow, that is perfect for me right now until Plus! Live comes along, awsome job (y)(y)(y)

EDIT: Added screenie for those who may want to try it out:)

PS and to add: A stylesheet which makes the Messenger XML logs look like Plus! text logs also exists (for over 2 years now... search forums)

- CookieRevised's reply to convert xml logs to txt plus-like logs
- CookieRevised's reply to Can I convert MSN chat log to plus! format?
- CookieRevised's reply to Convert Chatlogs?
- etc...

I'm not too sure if anyone still uses this but I edited the .XSL file to include a time-stamp (date & time) so I know when the posts were made.

I've provided it in the attachment below if anyone's interested.
