Hello Everyone, I recently bought a phone with bluetooth on 3 mobile, i have a LG U8380 can someone please tell me what bluetooth is sorry for askin but i have absolutely no idea

Bluetooth is a wirless connectivty, that uses an advanced radio frequency !!
you may turn on Bluetooth on your mob, and you friend will also turn that on his mobile!! you search for each other, in a range up to 10meters. you will connectect to him, and u will be able to send files, play games, etc..
it;s not only used for mobiles, you have portables with blurtooth, ear phones with bluetooth etc....
for example, your mobiles manager can now connect your mobiles to your computer wirlessly , no need to IR, no wires....
however it's sometimes represent a threat to your mobile, if u keep it on, as some are using it, to distribute Viruses.

Easiest way to stay free of Viruses on Symbian OS...
Don't leave bluetooth on all the time (It runs Battery Life down anyways) and don't accept files/invitations from unknown devices or strangers.

Sorry for being picky but it can go much higher than 10meters! the motorlora V3 RAZR has a bluetooth range of 100 metres

I'm the biggest newb ever... I've had a new phone and only today I found out what bluetooth is and how it works. lol. And it is damn good!

but that is why i use my wifi card to go on the internet
(inside 100m, outside 125m)
