I installed ubunto on my pc and i'm not that keen on it and my windows home edition has gone 
I want it back if i can. As i'm not used to ubunto and i have lost my xp cd

I don't think there's anyway of getting it back if you overite it with ubuntu. sorry.

If you wouldnt mind id like to just inform you about one thing. If you require a solution to this problem then SAY SO and keep titles related to the topic so the entire community doesnt have to open every thread to know what its about

- Recovery Disk
- Install CD
did you install to dual boot?
if so, go to home and then boot.ini will be in your C drive representative, you can then tell it to run windows on startup.
