Hi there.

Listen, i need to encode & burn a .avi and .str, but i really have no idea how to enconde avi's with subtitles.. can someone point me a piece of software which is able to do that ?

I think TMPGEnc does it.

Come to think about it. I think you would have a better chance adding the subtitles using VirtualDub.

You can change the .srt to .ssa with srt2ssa converter, then use VirtualDub with the subtitler.vdf (can be downloaded from it's homepage) to bring the subtitlefile and the videofile together.

Thanks matty and kryptonate.. TMPGEnc doesnt really work for me, 'cause, following a guide on afterdawn.com, it makes the file bigger than the dvd itself..

I was trying to avoid using VirtualDub, because it makes the video a bit slow(enconding it with the subtitles), but if it's my final chance, i guess i'll have to use it :)
