I have Windows Vista 5308 right now. The Flip3d (Windows button+tab) works really well, however the Alt+Tab is displaying the default Windows 98/2000/xp alt+tab window. I cannot see the live previews like i should. Does anyone know why this is? thanks

i am positive that feature is included in this build of vista. its a full feature build, as well ive seen screenshots of other people using this feature in this build, i just dont know why it doesnt work for me

by the looks of this he isent a "actual tester" are you

1. This is a Messenger Plus! forum, not a Microsoft forum.
2. Vista is in beta so expect things don't work like they should.
3. If you aren't a tester you shouldn't be using Windows Vista Beta. And so you shouldn't discuss it here.
If you are a tester then you should ask questions like these in the Vista newsgroups.

oh i knew all of that. i posted it here because it says we can talk about technology here. i also posted it in the msdn fourms as well, and considering a lot of us in here enjoy technology i thought why not. but i solved this issue already, just needed a lil tweaking.

In 5270 you use flip 3D by clicking the icon in quick launch (see attachment.)
Is DWM enabled (is it using aero glass or standard)?
Vista has a habit of disabling features that it does not think you computer can run properly. Look around the controll panel if the quick launch icon isn't there.
