do you or your contact use a router?

you may need to enable upnp

or even open the right ports

She used router but I did not use router when I talked to her last night.  She had tried to talk to the other guy in her country.  That guy does not have the web cam and he could see her image when they talked.  Last night, I also tried using MSN messenger from two computers in my home with two different high speed lines(one from cable modem and one from DSL).  The one connect with cable has web cam and the one connected to dsl does not have web cam.  When the communication establish, the one without web cam can see the image from the one with web cam.  So I think the configuration for all our MSN messenger are all correct.  The only problem is that when I tried to communicate oversea, it failed.  Any idea?
