I thought this might be useful for some people as it has been requested before.

1. Add BOT2K3 (maven@bot2k3.com)
   
2. Open a conversation and write !addnote
   
3. Draw your image and send it
   
4. Type !exit to finish saving
   
5. Type !notes to view your notepad
   
6. "To view a note, type "!shownote <id>". To remove one, type "!removenote <id>". If you want to add a note, type "!addnote" and just type, draw, or speak (hold F2 while speaking)."
   
7. To paste your ink message into a conversation, open one up with a contact and drag your ink message from the BOT2K3 window to your contacts handwriting box

   You can only save up to 500 KBs and I don't know how reliable it is, but it may come in handy

Or if you want to save every sent ink message, you can try

Auto Save Handwriting
