ARGHHHHH i  can't open MSN MESSENGER using firefox, ok you are most likely thinking; ok you loser use Internet Explorer, well Internet explorer doesnt work because my laptop is set up for school and internet explorer only works within 100 meters of my school. So at home i use firefox but MSN doesnt pick this up and i cant log on!

Problem No.2

Stuffplug isnt working, im not sure if it is my laptop or the actuall site.


NEED HELP!:S

welcome to the MSG PLUS! forums firstly :)

for problem two:
go to the plus preferences and then plugins, then make sure that stuffplug is enabled in that list (you will need to sign out after anabling it)

and for problem 1:
switching browser wont help you be able to get a signal from wireless,
if you are connected to a router (or other wireless device) at home just make sure that in "connections" that is the enabled option, it should be if firefox is working fine, if IE (Internet explorer ) wont work then neither should FireFox, maybe you'll have to explain that part of your problem a little bit more :)

have you gone into Firefox options an click on  check now button again?

i tryed check now and it says firefox is my default browser. urghh is stuffplug working for you guys? This is what MSN says when i troubleshoot

It sounds like your school has a proxy server set in IE, which is where messenger can load its proxy settings from.
Open IE and go to Tools >> internet options and select the "Connections" tab.
Then click Lan settings and uncheck the check box i circled

Note: you will probably need to recheck the option whenever you want to use the laptop at school.
