Emotions by Kally on 03-27-2006 at 01:21 PM

Hi All,

I received an emotion from a friend of mine which I added to my custom emotions but now would like to save this emotion also as a separate gif file so I can add to my e-mails - is there any way to do this???

I have avsolutely no idea and would really like to get this emotion to use in my e-mails too.

Thanks.

Ive also got a question to ask on this same issue...is there a file where the emoticon is saved so that you can edit it?? sorry :$

Edit: When you have added when a contact has posted it i mean :)

Basically that is also what I am asking.  I would think that when we add to our MSN this file is copied somewhere on our hard drive and we can retrieve it and copy it into another file or edit.

Hope someone knows.

See CookieRevised's reply to re-name display pics

Follow his instructions to find the custom emotes. You can then rename the extension to .PNG

:undecided:
even if he is a WLMessenger tester it will most likely be the same instructions - hence by asking he can be given instructions and they will work for MSN and WLMessenger!
it does not make him a liar ATALL!!!!
